Interior Design
Rooms, joinery and lighting designed in honest, lasting materials.
Space Designers designs interiors for homes, flats, offices and showrooms in Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and across Uttar Pradesh. Because the studio is also an architecture practice, interiors are drawn with the building in mind: ceilings that work with the beams, lighting that matches the furniture plan and storage built into the walls.
We work in natural materials such as timber, stone and lime plaster, chosen to age well, and design joinery that local craftsmen can build to the drawing.

Questions
Common questions
Do I need an architect or an interior designer?
- If the structure stays as it is, an interior designer can handle a flat or a refit. For a new house, extensions or removing walls you need an architect as well. Space Designers does both, so one coordinated set of drawings covers the building and the interiors.
Do you design interiors for flats as well as houses?
- Yes. The studio designs interiors for flats, independent houses, villas, offices and showrooms across Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and Uttar Pradesh.
How does an interior project start?
- With a conversation about your space, brief and budget, followed by a site visit and measured survey, and then a written fee proposal.
